Rowen VonPlagenhoef

Rowen VonPlagenhoef is a clean-energy entrepreneur and advocate, working at the intersection of creativity, technology, and climate impact. A Harvard University graduate, Rowen has built a career advancing the energy transition, from leading multi billion-dollar decarbonization modeling at Charles River Associates to shaping data center sustainability strategy and policy at Microsoft. He is now an Origination & Strategy Manager at esVolta, helping develop the next fleet of utility-scale battery solutions, and previously founded a renewable energy accounting startup through LPCE. His previous roles with LPCE include Harvard guest lecturer and course curriculum developer for LPCE100, a content co-developer for LabXchange, and a LPCE Seed Fund recipient. In his free time, you can find Rowen working at a nearby coffee shop on his poetry book or taking walks with a boba in hand around campus.
