Malcolm is a class of 2025 Master in Design Engineering (MDE) candidate at Harvard’s Graduate School of Design and the Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
As a business designer and educator, Malcolm is energized by socially and environmentally impactful businesses and initiatives that center the experiences of their stakeholders. Most recently, Malcolm collaboratively crafted and taught an entrepreneurship and innovation course in his hometown of Chicago as a Teach For America corps member.
Prior to his role in education, Malcolm engaged with a global community of entrepreneurs and investors through his roles at Angel Ventures, one of Latin America’s prominent venture capital firms and his Fulbright partner firm. Malcolm’s cross-sector exposure to edtech, mobility, fintech, foodtech, and socially impactful startups has helped fuel his interest in interconnected systems of impact.
As an LPCE teaching and graduate fellow, Malcolm is interested in exploring the intersections of policy, technology, and business design to help students design and scale sustainable, multigenerational solutions to some of our world’s most intractable challenges.
